Validation in public transport is now also possible via mobile phone.

The new functionality is available in the “Transport Burgas” mobile application, in the “Tickets” section, from where the user can select the product he wishes to purchase. The application makes it possible to load both single e-tickets and packages of 50 and 30 trips. Payment is made by bank card, through an external secure and certified (PCI) service. The application generates a QR code, through which the validation takes place on the buses, and the electronic ticket gives the right to transfer within 45 minutes. Registration in “Transport Burgas” is done via Email, AppleID, Google or Facebook account.

Through the “Transport Burgas” application, users can receive real-time information about bus movements and the exact time when the bus will be at the nearest stop, as well as create routes for traveling by public transport.

“Burgasbus” informs its customers that from this Saturday – 07/08/2023, it resumes the operation of summer line 17A, which connects the “Meden Rudnik” complex with the “Kraimorie” quarter during the holidays.

Line 17A will run every Saturday and Sunday during the summer season along the route: “Meden Rudnik” terminal, “Vastanicheska” St., “Zahari Stoyanov” blvd., “G. Al. Kodjakafaliyata” Blvd. , “Petrova Niva” St., Daga St., “Apostol Voivoda” St., “Georgi Popayanov” St., “Zahari Stoyanov” Blvd., Kraimorie quarter.

There are five courses per day on Saturdays and Sundays, while the schedule of line 17, which serves the Kraimorie quarter, is also preserved.

Departure times from “Meden Rudnik” Terminal are: 08:30; 09:30; 10:30 a.m.; 14:00; 3:00 p.m., and from Kraimorie quarter – 9:00 a.m.; 10:00; 11:00 a.m.; 14:30; 3:30 p.m.

The route of the seasonal line was created at the suggestion of residents of the “Meden Rudnik” complex and provides easier access to the beach of the “Kraimorie” district, and also reduces traffic on part of the route to the Southern Black Sea.

“Burgasbus” EOOD reminds that every passenger without a valid transport document must obtain a paper ticket immediately after boarding the vehicle.

If there is no ticket inspector in the salon, charging is done by the driver. 

For the convenience of passengers, on all courses where there is no ticket inspector, buses are marked with a plate on the vehicle’s windshield.
